1994 Jeep Wrangler Sahara - Jurassic Park Replica # 12 - Very Accurate!

I am selling my Jurassic Park Jeep Replica after 2 + years of ownership. The vehicle is a 95% replica of the Jurassic Park Jeep that Denis Nedry drove in the 1993 hit movie. No expense was spared in building this replica. Hundreds of hours were spent in researching and building this replica. Original movie HD screen grabs were scrutinized to make sure the vehicle matched the movie used Jeep as closely as possible. Lots of rare parts on this Jeep including the Ramsey REP6000 Winch, absco SL135 Lights and original Sahara interior.
The paint was stripped to the bare metal, ith a thin coat of bondo applied for a smooth finish and professionally sprayed. Several hours and a lot of effort was spent making sure the red paint matched the angles and design of the original movie Jeep. The base color is Chrysler Low-Gloss Sand Beige 27055 and the red is Chrysler Radiant Fire 4279, oth are movie accurate. Both paints were sprayed in a matte finish and are OEM colors for 1992. Extra paint is included with the Jeep for any touchups needed in the future.
The original Ramsey REP6000 winch was found and shipped in. This is the correct winch that is used in the movie. Sadly, ue to its age (1989 model) it does not work.
4 Jabsco SL135 lights were purchased and heavily customized to match the movie. I custom designed and printed 3D parts to match the Jabsco brush guards to match the movie used lights. You can not find these parts in the a store or online. Switches were run and installed inside the cabin to control each light individually. The lights move left, ight, p and down to provide a crazy amount of light. The Jeep also includes the correct Mopar light bar, ut does have aftermarket Delta foglights (sahara oem lights are extremely rare and typically in bad condition when found).
5 brand new BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires were purchased and installed. The wheels are standard 15" aluminum OEM Jeep parts and were plasti-dipped to match the red of the vehicle for easy touchup. The tires have less than 600 miles on them and are in brand new condition.
Brand new Rampage OEM style top was purchased and installed in the past month. The original top was damaged due to age, o new hardware, indow uppers and canvas top was purchased to ensure a quality fit.
The frame and underside of the Jeep are solid. It has been sprayed with rhino-lining to help prevent rust and frame rot.
Engine and transmission are original to the Jeep. The 3rd gear synchro grinds sometimes when shifting into gear but does not affect the operation of the Jeep. I drained the original fluid and filled the transmission with Redline transmission fluid and the transmission shifts better (I'm listing this in full disclosure of the condition of the Jeep). Engine is strong. Working 4WD system. Jeep has not been off-road since the restoration.
This Jeep has the rare dealer installed A/C system.
The vehicle is a big hit in parades, ar shows and fairs around town. This Jeep is a true replica with very few like this in the world. Hundreds of hours of work, art searches, esign work and research went into this replica, ith custom parts designed, ainted and installed by me. Lots of time, ffort and care went into designing and building this Jeep to make a quality movie car. I am a builder and project oriented guy and take special care to make sure all of the details are right. I'm only selling the Jeep to make room for future projects and to let another Jurassic Park fan enjoy the Jeep like I have over the years. You will not find another replica like this!
Price of the auction is $19,250 which is fair considering the work, ime, ffort and quality of the Jeep. This is not a standard 1994 Jeep Wrangler so best-offers need to take into consideration the type of vehicle this is. I've talked to several movie car builders and they all quote $25,000 + to make a a replica of this quality. You can save thousands of dollars and months of work and start driving today!
