Description for Jeep CJ 1976

5000 miles on rebuilt 4.2L 258 replaced valve cover once the gaskets twice.....still leaks oil......leaks underneath as well oil pan, ain seal would be my guess.
replaced single barrel carb with a 2 bbl
intake manifold from '90 YJ
iron cast exhaust manifold
put in a brake booster--iron cast master cylinder
new 140 amp alt.
new starter
new radiator hoses
reman power steering pump
reman steering gear box
AMC-20 rear axle passenger side one piece conversion....driver side replaced with a 2 piece
replaced muffler and tailpipe
Frame/body rusted out pretty bad that is the first thing that needs to be addressed. Have some new parts sitting around that I will throw in as well. If you know or have access to a good welder and/or body man you can come up with an inexpensive way to fix the frame. Fix the frame and you will have a pretty solid work/farm/hunting vehicle. worst case scenario you can part it out and break even.....if you know what you are doing you can even make a little money.
