Description for Jeep Comanche 1990
RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER1990 Jeep Comanche. These are getting harder and harder to find. I've been hiding this one away as my "spare" but the wife insists it must GO.
Has some rust in the bed sides, NO frame rust, NO holes in frame.
STRONG 4.0L, leaks some oil like they all do, runs great.
AW4 Automatic transmission shifts rough occasionally. Needs solenoids (tested and confirmed) Truck comes with new solenoids and a spare 110K AW4 ready to go (from an XJ).
Swapped gauge cluster to newer style with Tach/ real gauges, mileage on title reflects accuracy and can confirm 165K on chassis/engine.
Brand new 3.5" rough country lift with shocks.
Brand new 31" tires (2 different brands front/rear)
Has mount for aftermarket light bar on roof.
Swapped Dana 44 rear wish a Limited Slip Rear Differential.
3.55 gear's front and rear.
Taken it up to 13,000' from 6,000' here in Colorado half a dozen times this season wheelin'. Drives great, makes plenty of power, and will mountain goat you up and over everything.
VERY reliable. Pushed 2' of snow like it was born for it.
Great trail runner exactly as is.
Has aftermarket radio with AUX port for all you young guns that need music while wheelin'.
CONS::
Trac Bar has minor play (if you're a Jeep guy you already guessed that though!)
Trans Solenoids should be replaced
Rear brake valve doesn't work great. Brakes are fine/ no issues there/ but the adjustable valve in the back doesn't adjust every time.
