Here in South Florida. we see nice pre-owned Jeeps ALL DAY LONG - but this one is different. This one has been rebuilt and upgraded with a little more personality than most of them. Most notable is the V8 motor. dual exhaust and automatic transmission. giving this CJ-5 a lot more power and better drivability than it had when it was new. This is a really fun weekend toy that runs and drives well enough to serve as your daily driver as well. We don't know exactly when the rebuild was done. but we're assuming the miles on the odometer are correct from the time of the build. (4527 miles). This Jeep is pretty basic. but some nice cosmetic improvements have been done to go along with the motor upgrade. The chrome grill stands out. and its complimented by auxiliary driving lights up front. There are nerf bars and chrome hood latches. too. The Jeep has new bumpers. a hitch and a nice set of alloy wheels with Falken A/T tires mounted on them (tire size is 33x12. 5 / 50R15LT. and they look almost brand new). The paint is black. but with with some multi-colored metal flake in it (see the close-up picture of the hood). Am AM/FM/CD has been added inside. and it looks like the speedo / gauge assembly must have been changed at the time of the rebuild. Other than a chrome grab handle and shift knob. the inside of the Jeep looks mostly stock. We don't have details on all of the mechanical work. but this Jeep starts right up and runs strong. Handling is tight. with a firm suspension. It has a different feel than a new Jeep would. it's a little more exciting to drive. and a little more fun all around. These Jeeps are a lot of fun to own and drive - and you should drive this one. We have even set the buy it now price low. for a quick and easy purchase.
