1953 Willys M38-A1 Jeep,Military Model. 32,849 Actual Miles. No Rust Ever, Purchased From U.S. Govt. In Boise, ID. March 1985. Converted To Key Start 12V System, with GM Alternator, Oil Filter Conversion, New 12V Gauges, (Speedo Is Original), New Brakes and Wheel Cylinders, Inc. Emergency Brake, Rancho 1" Lift and Steering Stabilizer, New Shocks, New Best Top, New Beachwood Canvas Military Upholstery, New Tinted Glass And Rubber In Windshield. One New Vacuum Wiper, 2nd One Needs A Kit Or Replaced. All New Wiring, With ATC Fuse Panel. Has New Waterpump And Engine Heater. The Springs Were Replaced Due To Weak Originals And Ride. Drivetrain Is Original And Other Than A Rear Main Seal, Has Not Been Touched. Does Not Smoke Or Use Oil. Transmission and Transfer Case Work As They Should. Not Synchronized In Low Gear/Must Be Stopped Or Double Clutched.I Have Driven It Less Than 200 Miles Since 1985. Redo Finished About 5 Years Ago, And Has Been Stored Since Except 2 Local Car Shows. Other Than The Wiper Motor, It Needs A Larger Steering Wheel. Put A New One On It But Too Small.Neds New Military Type With Horn Switch Available Online. No expense spared On Any Repairs Done.
