Description for Jeep CJ 1977
This is a very special CJ-7 Jeep that gets compliments and attention every time I drive it. Built and modified from the ground up. It was purchased in California, so it's almost completely rust free, including the floor pans and underbody. It always starts and runs 100%. No fluid leaks at all. Up-to-date on all maintenance. Everything is working: lights, signals, horn, wipers, heat, defrost, winch, 4WD, etc. AMC 360 V-8 engine converted to fuel injection (code 909P10) that was professionally rebuilt in 2005 (approximately 9,000 miles ago and I have the receipt). Four-speed T-18 manual transmission, with a granny gear. I've babied this Jeep - kept in the garage, never driven in bad weather, the only off-roading I did was a on some gravel trails. Approximately 80" tall with the hardtop on. This Jeep was "built" by the previous owner to crawl rocks at Moab and all modifications are heavy duty and were done right. Dana 30 front axle, Dana 44 rear Terra Low, NP 231, 4.10 gears Warn locking hubs Redding CV & Driveline Power disk brakes front and rear and power steering Skyjacker shocks Bomb-proof motor mounts Howell fuel injection system (no carburetors) Detroit Locker in rear. Detroit EZ locker in front. Onboard air compressor 750 watt power inverter Rock Sliders Poison Spyder Crusher Corners Rock-It Gliders covering the differentials Custom fuel tank with skid plate Full roll cage Mini high torque starter Edelbrock intake High idle switch 2 optima red top batteries 9,500 lb Warn winch High-Lift X-treme 48" Jack (Not the cheap one you buy at Tractor Supply Co.) 35' BFG Mud Terrain TAs Alloy wheels Rubicon Express front and rear leafs, shackles, brake lines, front and rear shock mounts Hard top and full doors with manual roll down windows Full Bestop Supertop soft top tinted sides, rear curtain Half hard doors Bikini top. Tuffy lockers: drawer under the rear seat, center console, and cage under the hood - all with keys. JVC Blue tooth enabled radio, with USB port and Pioneer speakers. 2" tow receiver with rear electric hook up to tow a trailer in back and front electric hook up if you want to tow the Jeep. This is a no frills vehicle. No A/C, no cruise control, no air bags. Lap belts only. Paint is good, but not close to perfect. Has a few scratches and touch up areas. A quarter-sized ding in the hood. Driver's seat has some tears that have been repaired. I always drove with the seat covers on. It has a lever lock, instead of a traditional emergency brake. When I tried using the lights underneath, it makes the headlights blink on and off periodically. I didn't need those lights, so I never bothered to fix it. It drives like a lifted vehicle. Meaning, you bounce around and it doesn't corner quickly. It does drive smoothly down the highway - 100% straight, no pulling - only need one hand on the wheel. Geared low for maximum torque, so I very rarely drive over 60-65mph. Tires are good, but could be replaced if you want max traction off-road. Spare tire is perfect. I have paperwork on all the modifications since 2003, an owner's manual, and a clean title. I haven't used any black spray paint or done anything else to artificially dress it up. This is a very legit, tough, steel body Jeep with armor that looks awesome and is in amazing condition - not a beauty queen. Comes with full steel doors, half steel doors, hard top, full soft top, and full length bikini top for full roll cage.2001 Gem Car E2...$3,500Mark as soldDiscountView your sold items
