In 2005 I bought this Cherokee from the son of the man who ordered it new from the deale, said it was his dads baby. All original, California car, fully loaded, 70,364 original miles according to the son. I installed BJ's offroad 4 inch lift and 33x12.5 Goodyear MTR in 2005. This vehicle drove like a Cadillac on and off road. Less than 1000 miles later the engine spun a rod bearing . I partially disassembled engine to inspect and it has been covered with plastic in my garage for 13 years since. Original 401 engine needs full rebuil, all parts bagged and included. Turbo 400 and quadratrac with low range worked fine in 2005. Has misc. door dings and scratches. Original paint has areas that are wearing thin. 'S' package decals have cracked appearance from age. Body is solid, no rust damage. Has minor cosmetic rust at rain gutters. Drivers seat is cracked and the other seats sound old. The headliner is sagging in the middle. This vehicle has never bean abused. Super easy project for a really cool machine. Not running. Current non operation Cal. registration. Clean title in hand. Sold as is where is.
