Selling my beautiful CJ!

This is a rare example of a very original, clean, low mileage, very dry jeep!

This CJ5 was sold new in Denver Colorado and has lived most of its life in the high desert area of the western rocky mountains. It has been meticulously maintained and stored inside all its life. The jeep has its original paint and interior! The soft top is in really good condition and shows a few scratches and wear from normal use. All zippers, brackets and buttons function as they should. The jeep also comes with bestop half doors, bestop bikini top a lockable middle console storage box as well as rear wheel well pads to add comfort to your backseat passengers (not sure the brand). The interior is absolutely immaculate and is only missing one little knob. The seats are original and in excellent condition. The front seats have covers on them to protect them from the elements. All gauges and interior lights function as they should. I also have one piece of carpet that isn't pictured but will be included. The interior on this jeep is truly impressive for being almost 40 years old!

The exterior is no different! The original paint really shines and the body is all original with no rust. There is one ding in the front right fender that is pictured as well as a whole on the passenger rear of the tub (I think for a cb antenna)? The paint has a few rock dings and shows a small amount of wear from basic normal driving. It's truly amazing to see an old jeep that hasn't been painted and had a bunch of modifications and cover ups. All the exterior lights work and it even comes with what I believe to be the original spare tire.

Mechanically this CJ truly shows it's 54,000 miles! It starts, runs and drives excellent. Starts and idles very well, shifts, clutches and stops like new. The rear pinion seal has a tiny seep, other than that no leaks. The radiator was replaced a few years ago along with a section of the exhaust. The steering is extremely tight (if you've driven old jeeps you know what I'm talking about), this one isn't like the others. Absolutely no shakes, rattles or noises even when going down bumpy country roads. Very tight, joy to drive jeep!

This is a prime example of an unmolested CJ in incredible condition! The underbody hasn't been coated and still has original paint on the frame and underside of the body. If you're looking for an old Jeep to enjoy and drive on those sunny Sundays this is perfect.

I purchased this Jeep when I was on vacation, got it home and realized its WAY too nice for our family (2 young kids that don't appreciate or understand keeping things nice)! So, I'm letting it go in search of something we can spill a little ice cream in or scratch the paint up without feeling bad about it. It's been here in Indiana for about a month and will remain in a climate controlled garage until it finds a new home. The mileage may jump a hundred miles or so just because I do tool it around every so often.

I tried to upload a video of the jeep starting and running but I couldn't figure it out. I'd highly suggest coming to look at this jeep if you're close so you can truly appreciate the cleanliness and originality of this machine. The pictures just don't do it justice! One final note! I've never used eBay, therefore I have no ratings and no experience. Please be patient with me as I learn the ropes. I believe this is the best place to allow for everyone to have the opportunity to own this jeep.
