Description for Jeep Wagoneer 1988
Selling my wife's 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. This is an awesome Jeep and gets a ton of attention anytime we drive it! Black exterior with the original tan interior is the best and hardest to find color combination! The body is in great shape with just a couple very small imperfections. It is in great condition for an unrestored driver! We bought this jeep for my wife to drive to the stables, beach, and around town fun vehicle. She absolutely loves the Jeep and we have a ton of money invested in it to make sure that it safe a reliable as our daughter rides in it as well. It has never let us down. We drive it on road trips of about an hour each way but wouldn't hesitate to drive it any distance. Lots of new parts are installed. It has an excellent A/C that blows super cold! Heat works great also! It has a brand new set of tires installed as well! There are a few things that it still needs that we haven't gotten around to having done yet. It has a little bit of a rough idle. The idle is a little rough and a shop said we need to have them give it a good tuneup. Also the rear brakes are making a little noise from the drivers side. A list of what the shop recommended at the last visit was : spark plugs, rear brake shoes and drivers/passengers wheel cylinders, and an oil pan gasket. This was all quoted at just under $760 for all repairs to have the shop do it. If you are mechanically inclined and can do the work yourself the parts should cost you around $100-$170. It runs and drives great. The paint is good, but not perfect. It has a couple small dings and flaws here and there but overall good. there are 3 places (shown in pictures) that are the worst spots on the vehicle. A local body shop said for a couple hundred bucks they could go over the whole vehicle and fix and blend the imperfections and make it look great. My wife used it as a driver vehicle and didn't really need or want it done because she said it didn't bother her. Its an older vehicle with its quirks but overall a great ride!
If you are interested in checking out the Wagoneer please give me a call or text. I would strongly recommend coming to see and drive the vehicle in person. It is an awesome Jeep that makes a great driver. It isn't a show vehicle but it is above average condition for the year. Call or text 912-223-8714 with any questions. If you would like to submit an offer please feel free to call or contact me. I have it listed locally as well and it will sell quickly due to all the interest I have had in it.
