Description for Jeep Wrangler 1988
Selling my 1988 Jeep YJ crawler. I've owned the jeep for 10 years. It was bone stock when I bought it and it has slowly been modified over the years. It runs, drives, and is ready to wheel. It could be street driven if inspected. I currently have it insured and plated but it hasn't seen any street driving in 4-5 years. Currently the modifications are as follows:Drivetrain:
-Chevy TBI 350 small block 300hp/350ft lbs crate motor w/ less than 10 wheeling trips on it
-SM465 4-speed trans
-Dana 300 transfer case w/ twin sticks
-Dana 60 front axle (4.56 gears, spartan locker)
-GM 14 bolt rear axle (4.56 gears, welded)
Wheels/Tires/Suspension:
-39.5" Iroks with 17" DIY beadlocks (balanced internally). 2 tires leak down over a week or so. Not streetable but still life left for offroad use.
-Full size 40" Cooper Spare
-Double triangulated 4-link rear with full truss, bridge, and pinion guard
-14" Fox remote reservoir dual rate coilovers w/ extra springs
-Leaf spring front with 7-leaf wagoneer springs w/ shock hoops for future 4-link
Steering:
-Hydro-assist steering
-GM 1 ton crossover steering with billet arm
Other:
-Custom 1/4" plate flat belly skid
-RCI fuel cell behind rear seat
-6 point roll cage with frame tie-ins that allow for body and cage to be removed.
-Ramsey 8k winch w/ wireless remote setup
-Mild sound system
-Full soft top
-Bikini top
-Steel half doors with uppers (color matched)
-Soft half doors for trail use
-Original front fenders will be included. Took them off to build tube fenders and never re-installed
This jeep has seen almost every trail at Rausch creek. It has a few dents and scratches from the trail but nothing major. Nothing is rotted and its a solid vehicle overall.
