The toy box is overflowing and it's time to thin it out. Up for grabs is my super sanitary low mileage 20. 40 miles. 1981 Jeep CJ-5. Yes it's as nice as it looks. This is a very unique special ordered no frills CJ. 4 cyl. GM iron duke. 4 speed. nbsp;radio delete. tilt wheel. console and a tailgate with a side mounted spare. Try finding a 1980 or newer CJ-5 with a tailgate and yes the side marker light on the spare tire carrier is the original location. Try finding a Cj that has'nt been hacked. lifted or beat to death. The Jeep went through a minor frame off restoration. The body was pulled off the frame everything was sandblasted painted and reassembled. Starting with the frame. it. the suspension and the axles were coated in POR15. The axles had fresh seals installed and all the brakes were freshened. The clutch. pressure plate and T/O bearing were replaced. The motor and trans were cleaned and repainted. The original steel body had a few minor repairs painted and installed with new mounts. The seats are new and the floor was coated with bedliner for durability. The Bestop is in very nice shape and the doors have the half door option. Lights. heater. wipers. squirts. parking brake etc. work as they should. Check out the pics. they tell the story.
