Very nice 1958 Willys Jeep CJ5 for sale. I purchased it in 2011 and restored it to its current "new" condition. The Jeep has the original 4 cylinder "Hurricane" engine with 3 speed T-90 transmission and Dana 18 Transfer Case. All components were professionally rebuilt by a machine shop in Marietta GA. I rebuilt the original Dana 44 Rear axle and Dana 27 front axle and added disc brakes on both. with a dual reservoir "wildwood" disc brake master cylinder. This Jeep stops on dime. The original brake components were downright scary. I feel very safe with the upgraded brakes. I added new Warn lockout ups. Goodyear Wrangler Radial Tires and black 15" wheels. It has LED taillights and original style headlights / marker lights. Jeep has an aftermarket "wildwood" emergency brake that holds very well. I added windshield wipers but they are not currently wired up. I tested the motor and it is new and functional. I added a Warn winch mount plate to the front of the Jeep. allowing easy mounting of a Warn winch. I added a stereo and speakers which work quite well. Jeep has new tan low back seats. matching rear seat and matching bikini top. The only remaining issue is the alternator. You will need to add a grounding wire to the alternator. Other than that it is ready to hit the trail. It is located on the Island of Oahu. in Hawaii. Shipping can be arranged at the buyers expense but would prefer to sell locally. I am leaving the island soon and do not want to take it with me. I have invested over $25. 00 into restoring this vehicle . My reserve price is substantially lower. The Jeep needs to sell ASAP. The Jeep is registered in the state of Georgia. There was no title when I purchased it. just a bill of sale.
