Description for Jeep Comanche 1989
Hello I am selling my 1989 Jeep Comanche Pioneer. The previous owner had owned this truck since 1993 when it had only 30k miles. I bought it from him not to long ago. and have decided to sell it because many people have inquired about the truck when I run errands or go to school. The truck was very well maintained. The interior is very clean and all original. It now has 122. 11 all original miles. Camper top is included with the truck. No rust anywhere on the truck! Manual locks and windows. It has the beloved 4. 0 L straight 6 engine matched with the AW4 4 speed automatic transmission. Jeep enthusiasts know how great this combination is as it has made the Cherokee notorious for reliability and longevity. The engine runs great. Oil has always been changed regularly. and it always stays very clean. The engine bay is very dry. no leaks at all. The automatic transmission shifts very smoothly. and the fluid is also clean. It also shifts into all the 4WD gears very easily and smoothly. No weird noises. slippage or anything. The suspension on the truck is very good. The shocks and struts were recently replaced. and the leaf springs in the rear are all good. Axles and drive shaft are both in great shape. The truck is sitting on 30x9. 5x15LT all terrain tires. and have plenty of tread left. The rear driver side tire is slowly losing air. I fill it up about once a week. Brakes and rotors are in great shape. very firm and no squeeling or noises either. The cons to this truck are far and few between. The only real issue is the radio doesn't work. The lights come on around it. but the power won't come on. Also. the A/C needs freon as it doesn't get cold. but I always ride with the windows down. Lastly. I have taken up close pictures where the paint is a little messed up. but that should be expected for a 26 year old truck. Overall. this is a great little 4x4 truck. The only reason I am selling it is because after my semester is over I am moving to Oregon and will live on campus at a university. Really won't have a need for a valuable truck to be sitting in some parking lot. If you have any questions please feel free to call or text me. I am NOT in a rush to sell the truck. so lowball texts will be ignored. I am looking for $8000 OBO. Thanks! eight one three. four zero four. three six seven nine.
