Description for Jeep J-300 1964

1964 JEEP J-300
Pick up 4x4
Az survivor

This is a cool very original AZ barn find pick up
Jeep 4x4 ...with lots of possibilities on how to
build.
LOW RESERVE !! bid to win early !!
IF it doesnt sell, Ill prob wait till Jan to relist it.

We suggest viewing our auction on normal monitors
or tablet to get the most out of our large hi-def pics.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
1964 Jeep was basically a barn find here in Tucson.
Its been sitting about 15 yrs or so. We tossed a battery in
it, changed the oil, poured some gas down the carb and hit the key. After about the 3rd time it fired up and sat there and idled fine. No smoke, or bad noises. So the motor
seems to be fine. That said, thats all I could really check
because the clutch and brake master are missing. Id almost
bet you could finish fixing the brakes, and clutch master
and make this almost driveable without a ton of work.
Option 2: motor swap it with a modern turbo diesel :)
The patina on the original paint is amazing, I wouldnt
touch it personally. Only place that got the real rust or
rot are both the front floor boards. (SEE ALL THE PICS
BELOW) to see exactly how solid this 50+ yr old Jeep is.

Check out the pics and more info below...thanks

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! NO idea of the actual mileage of the
truck and or drivetrain.
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.
WANNA BUY IT NOW ? SURE, shoot me a fair offer

DRIVETRAIN: the factory giant torque monster straight
6 starts with the key, when pouring gas down the carb.
No smoke or bad noises at all. Rest of the drivetrain suppose to be fine
too, but no way to really check. We talk about the clutch & brake master earlier. It will need some brake lines and wheel cylinders too. It is sitting
on a Brand New 0 miles set of 235-75-15 tires on some old
chrome mod wheels 15x8. Again, very original and not hacked
up either. The engine looks like it may of been out, and work
done to it in recent yrs, the block and main components are
nice painted etc. (not my fav color, but it was done). But not
sure the condition of rest of the fuel system. I just wanted to
make sure the motor didnt have major issues, and it sounds like
its all good when running it how we did for now.

INTERIOR: take a look, for the most parts its very complete
and original. Az has been hard on most of it as you can see
in the pics It will need some resto of course. All the glass I believe
is good and the Doors all work, no rot on the doors, but again
some rot on the front floors. Very sparce but it was built for
using. 3 on the tree too with T case shifter on the floor. Front
seat looks original, but not in too bad of shape. Another cool thing
Jeep did on these was not put the gas tank in the cab.

EXTERIOR:the body is not in bad shape at all. The original
color was looks to be a gold color. Now its a 50+ yr old
Az patina paint job. The only real dent I thats obvious is on the
front edge of the hood. But the hood functions fine. The bed is
In really nice shape for its age too as is the tailgate, which also
functions fine. It has to me what looks like better then normal
wear and tear.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very original
for its age. Factory height. Again, all looks intact. Rolls and
steers fine, sitting on some 15" old skool chrome mods with brand
new set of Futura 15" 235-75-15 tires. Pretty much stock and all factory
for the most part the way it left the Jeep factory in 64.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
The Az sw gets about 9" of rain a year and the dry desert
climate preserves metal, doesnt rot it.

We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what
surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car
they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy esp
long distance. Our auctions are very detailed.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
