One registered owner from Chula Vista California until I purchased it in March of this year. Rock solid body and chassis free from the typical rust issues associated with these.This has been disassembled, restored, refinished and reassembled with considerable care. Refinished in Porsche Guards Red it is an eye popping color and everything is renewed/ restored or replaced.
The Wheels and tires (32" x 11:50") are brand new, 5 matching and have less than 200 miles on them. The Carpets, seats, seat mounts, seat sliders, center console, turbo 2" exhaust, rock guards are all brand new and just installed. These were all done here by myself. The coachwork, Paint, and major mechanical were done formerly a few years ago but were never completed so it was never driven after the paint and mechanical work. It appears that they removed the body to do the painting and did a very thorough job as the original color was blue but the engine bay, jams, wheel wells, fire wall, aprons, floor pans, dash, roll bar, under carriage were all professionally refinished with the exterior body in vibrant Guards Red.
Since completing the interior and the Wheel & Tire package I have driven it approximately 150 miles. I subsequently replaced the serpentine belts and the idler pulley. Everything is performing as expected. I will be updating the post with cylinder compression readings and other related issues so check back for this information.
