Up for auction, 1982 Jeep Cherokee Chief 2 Door Sport Wagon. This 4-speed Jeep is in great condition given its age. Plus it runs and drives well. The Jeep was just tuned up and serviced with new tires, brakes, water pump, plugs, wires, and other miscellaneous parts. The original paint was recently clear-coated to keep the original look and to protect the patina. Inside, a new carpet kit was recently installed and the front seats were reupholstered with the original style and color scheme. The body is very straight and still has all of it's original panels. This vehicle has been in the dry New Mexico climate since at least 1990, and has only some light surface rust, nothing too extensive. The 4WD system is in good working condition and has manual locking front hubs. This Jeep is in great shape for it's age, it's not perfect but is very solid and straight. Also it has rare factory A/C. The A/C system is intact but needs to be serviced. I've tried to describe this Cherokee as accurately and honestly as possible.
