Description for Jeep Cherokee 1978
You want a Jeep Cherokee Chief because it looks tougher, last longer, and is less common that just about any other capable 4x4. Now take that up an extra notch with this freshly built custom creation that includes a powerful fuel-injected V8, an awesome paint package, and a custom A/C interior. The Cherokee name is still a legend at Jeep, but the Cherokee Chief has a whole new level in the classic hierarchy. So it is the perfect canvas to create a custom-built machine like this one. The restoration was completed about 65 miles ago, and they took the time, money, and effort to get a straight body with fresh seals. You can instantly tell there's something special about this one. They adapted the early J10/Wagoneer front end for a great classic look; fender flares were expertly integrated to give this an even more aggressive stance; and the full package has been covered in an Olive Drab Metallic that strikes the ideal balance military-like tone and custom vehicle flair. There are great rugged details on everything from the Method beadlock-style wheels, to the black liner paint used for the roof section. There are even nice red accents on the tow hooks and emblems that really start to prove hos thoughtful this whole resonation was.
The interior is a cool mix of rugged utility and the right luxury. For example, the full floor is now protected by a robust liner paint that also looks quite stylish in a Jeep. The rear is ready to carry cargo and look cool with its mounted full-size spare. The exterior green returns on the door tops and dash. Plus, there's place on the door panels and dash pad. And these two colors are separated by a distinctive red line that reminds you of the accents of the exterior. Yes, this is that kind of high-quality level of a thought build. The dual high-back bucket seats offer plenty of bolstering for all-day comfort. In-between is a center console with cool toggle switches. There are some nice comfort upgrades, like the cold-blowing R134a air conditioning and an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and Bluetooth. Plus, this is set up to be an awesome driver's package with a bright B&M shifter, Grant sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and an AutoMeter Phantom gauge pack custom built by ZM Jeep.
Jeep's 360 cubic-inch V8 is an awesomely stout powerplant, and this one is even believed to be original to the vehicle. However, just like the rest of this Cherokee Chief, they left room for a ton of upgrades. The V8 was rebuilt to be enhanced and fortified with a bore .40 over kit, Mahle internals, a Voodoo camshaft, and CNC balanced package. It was topped with a Holley Terminator electronic fuel injection that includes a program module. You'll also spot the right supporting comports, like a BeCool aluminum radiator, Spal electric fans, and an MSD distributor. The undercarriage photos remind you how fresh the full restoration is, so you may never want to get this one dirty. If you do go off-road, this has the lifted stance, 4x4 transfer case, and Nitto Trail Grappler tires to get you through it all. Of course, with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front, this one is just as happy to roll through town with ease.
Complete with build receipts, this is a fresh build done with top quality everywhere you look. So if you love the distinction of a rare and custom machine, call today!
