Collectors and Jeep enthusiasts would be hard-pressed to find another opportunity like this.
This is a one-owner CA Jeep since new. All original. Bone stock. No rust issues or body damage. And only 54K original miles.
It was recently rescued from a garage in Southern California where it was very rarely driven by its owners. After a thorough inspection by a professional mechanic, the only work it needed was a cleaned out gas tank, oil change, new battery, new fuel pump and sending unit, and air in the tires. That's it.
I have intentionally left it alone so the new owner can make it their own.
It drives smooth, the legendary inline 6-cyl starts right up and runs strong, the paint looks great (it was kept in a garage since new), the top is in fantastic shape, the rubber has no cracks anywhere, the interior looks amazing, and the undercarriage is as dry as they come. The only thing that needs attention is the wiper motor. Likely just needs a fresh a wiring plug.
What is really needs is a new owner to take it from here.
I have the original owner's manual and the original CA "pink" slip. It's been on non-op for 10 years. I checked the DMV and back registration fees (if it stays in CA) are $140.
