Rare 1949 Jeep Willy Truck. Good Condition. Starts up quickly. Runs and drives well. Rust in truck bed and a few other spots, but all around in great shape for a 74 year old Jeep Willy Truck. Great truck for a restoration project, while you also are able to still drive it around the neighborhood.
Lightly updated at The Jeep Farm with work that included: installed rebuilt carburetor. installed new bench seat, replaced battery, repaired damaged fuel sending unit power. wire and installed into new tank. mounted fuel tank. installed X4 Shocks. installed U joint bearing caps, greased rear drive shaft and installed. hooked e-brake cable up. cut and modified original brake lines and installed with new fittings. adjusted brakes. bench bled brakes and master cylinder multiple times. installed block off plate. modified custom bracket for electric 6V fuel pump. installed bracket and pump. ran power wire from pump to to ignition switch. loomed wire and installed in line 10A fuse. removed glass filter and installed inline fuel filter. installed new rear springs, wrapped up new rear brakes, removed front axle and cleaned and painted housing, rebuilt front axle with a good used set of gears, reinstalled the axle with new springs and shackles. rebuilt steering center link, and new tie rods. cleaned and sealed up both front and rear axles.
