Description for Jeep Wrangler 1989
For Sale: 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ with a 4.2 L V8. Greatcandidate for restoration or customize it. This was running last summer but I could not get it started this year. There is very littlerust on the body, and it appears to be all surface rust. A few dents but overall,in very good condition. One tire currently has a puncture so there is a spare on the right front. I purchased the top new and it is in excellent condition. No cracks orclouding on the windows. A bikini top is included, also in excellent condition. Padded roll bar. Seats are good and I installed a center console. The clutch was sticking when last started. Not sure what the problem is. There seems to be a leak up front with the power steering. Probably a bad seal. The 4WD will not engage. The previous owner stripped out some of the vacuum lines but I am not a mechanic by any means and have not tried to fix it. 154,625 miles on the odometer. I think all of these issues could be handled by anyone with a little mechanical experience and the included Haynes repair andoriginal Jeep owner's manuals. Unfortunately, that'snot me.
Title is clean and ready to be signed over. Cash is much preferred. Cashier's check will have to clear (at least 7 days) before vehicle is released. $200 deposit is required at end of bidding with balance due in 7 days. Vehicle is sold "as is" so please ask questions prior to bidding. No warranties stated or implied. Local pickup only. I will cooperate as best I can with your shipper if needed, provided he has the proper equipment to load the vehicle. A word or two about local pickup. Please come ready to load the vehicle. I do not have ramps or winches to load it. Unless you are bringing your local offensive line, we can't push the vehicle up a ramp. I would suggest a full trailer. I would not recommend using a tow dolly. Sorry, but I have had several problems with local pickups for vehicles I have sold. Good luck bidding.
