1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with 150K Miles. I purchased the car through a dealer in central Virginia about 10 years ago. I have worked on the car here and there since. I intended to fully restore and got the process started but have had limited time to complete. It is in good working order and gets from A to B without issue. Every time I take her out I get thumbs up and head nods from the nostalgic. It would not take much effort or expense to make increase value substantially.
I have made best efforts to disclose everything known at this time.
MECHANICALLYCar runs well, is road worthy and has brand new battery.
● Car has road tripped multi-hour highway trips without issue● Belts squeak a bit until car is warmed up● All window motors work with exception of rear window● After market frame support and new gas tank welded in place● Heat works but AC needs charged● I like to start it up once a week or so to keep battery charged and the car happy
I have a few spare parts (window track, window motor, etc.) that I am happy to provide
EXTERIORThe paint and body are in good condition with no dents, dings or rust. The roof and hood paint has oxidized in the last couple of years.
● Wood trim on tailgate missing some trim parts● After market frame support and new gas tank welded in place● Wheels and tires are good and ready to roll● Sunroof has been sealed with silicon - it works but needs new switch assembly (I sealed as I was trouble shooting a leak)● Front side windows need resealed● Rear tailgate is missing lock assembly but is operational● Head, rear and signal lamps all operational
INTERIORI have started the process to restore interior.● Original seats are in decent shape - front seats have more wear● Door panels are intact● Carpet and headliner have been removed and interior body has been sealed● Gauges are in good working order
