1985 jeep cj7 amc sidetracked restoration

Description for Jeep CJ 1985

This is a 1985 CJ7 Renegade out of California that has been frame off restored. Jeep was rust free, but was thoroughly looked over. Engine was broken down and checked. Interior was replaced and upgraded. Was restored for a weekend cruiser, but have taken it on (easier) trails in Colorado and Moab, UT. Jeep is solid, just no time for anymore.
Engine is 4.2L inline 6, with 5 speed manual. 115,000 original miles on vehicle, 2846 since restore. New camshaft and lifters, valve covers, pumps, belts, hoses, you name it. Holley Sniper efi was installed. New wiring harness, engine mounts, radiator, manifolds, etc....
Transmission was looked over and is solid, shifts great. New clutch. Differential and transfer cases were gone through and gaskets replaces, 3.73 gears, all work very smoothly.
New heavy duty steering box and mount replaced stock system. They make a HUGE difference in controlling the 33" tires. New brakeunit/booster, calipers, brake lines, hand parking brake system (from old Mustang), tie rods, universal & ball joints, drive shaft, hubs, stainless borla exhaust, etc.....
2" lift was added with the 33"tires. New American Racing rims. Hard Rock front and rear bumpers. 3rd tail light in spare. Hard top is sprayed with Raptor bed liner and windows tinted. Billet tail lights.
Warn winch is all in working condition. Was cleaned and repainted to original with decals.
Interior has new black stainless, adjustable steering column. Air conditioning has been redone and works great. Corbeau seats are extremely comfortable. New carpeting, padding, gauges,,, etc. Full roll cage was already installed when I purchased. We put in hand parking brake, due to not being able to use foot system with cage. New hurst shifter, shifts nice and tight. Sony stereo(bluetooth), with Kicker in dash and rear pod speakers. Back-up camera.
These are just some of the items done. Paint is very nice. We did not fill in spot weld areas from factory, trying to stay somewhat "stockish".
