Selling a 1987 Jeep Wrangler that is a time capsule! This jeep is for the collectors to keep or for someone to cruise on a nice Sunday afternoon! As you can see in the pictures the jeep is in amazing condition. It was sitting up in vail Colorado in a garage for 22 years and not driven much at all. Still has the original paint from factory which was produce on 11-13-86. pictures do not do it justice! It drives like new and the steering wheel still has texture on it when it was new. This jeep has no rot/cancer at all on the paint or anywhere. The floor pans are shiny and untouched. It came from factory with a block heater which is kind of rare not seen much and for the color with paint code 4A autumn brown was a 1987 color only which is super rare and in this condition. The YJ was produce from 1987-1995 and 1987 was the only year with this color. The seats had sheep skin covers on them and are in new condition and even smell new! Still has the original radio with the amc logo from the CJ days when Chrysler bought jeep in 1986 as they still use some of the amc parts. Everything works on the jeep all outside lights and inside lights even the radio still lights up at night. The jeep has stayed inside all its life as you can tell by the condition and even the rubber cowl seal still feels like fresh rubber as its not dry rotted by the sun. Horn,4wd which the light turns on when 4wd is selected and wipers all work. Inside dome lamps works and heater blows hot. The ac blows and works but needs recharge with r-12 or convert it to r134 which does not cost much at all. The jeep will need new tires if you plan on driving the jeep a lot. The jeep had a tune up with plugs.wires,cap.rotor and a oil change with coolant flush. The jeep needs nothing and does not even leak a drop of anything in my garage. I also have the original keys. The jeep carpet is fabulous condition like the seats and floor mats. It has not seen much of the sun as the paint is so shiny and the inside is so vibrant. The jeep is located in Denver Colorado and I can work with your transportation person for shipping needs or I can suggest someone for you. The windshield has been replace before and the softop is a bestop from 5-22-02. the top is 20 years old and looks great! The jeeps idles perfect up in the higher elevation in Colorado and there is no stalling issues. The jeep drives and starts like brand new as it should with only 63k miles.
