1967 Jeepster New Paint / Interior LS conversion candidate like CJ Bronco Scout

Description for Jeep Commando 1967

Very rare 8701 Jeepster Deluxe Convertible. Very few true 8701 convertibles were produced.
New 2 Stage Paint in Seafoam Green Pearl with clearBody was sanded down and dents / body repaired. Exterior was fully primed with urethane primer surfacer, then block sanded by hand. Body exterior and dash were primed again with urethane primer surfacer and then block sanded twice by hand. A sealer was applied. Exterior and some interior parts were base coated with PPG paint and then urethane clear was applied. Floors were sanded down and Herculiner bed liner was laid down on floors, bedsides, and wheel housings.
New Interior in nice "Gingerbread" colorNew bucket seats with all new leatherette door panels. Matching dash pad.
Came with the optional 225 Buick V6 engine

This is a perfect candidate for a Vortec / LS engine swap with your custom drivetrain. Or even a diesel, or . ... ?Existing engine is complete but I believe it needs to be rebuilt. (Not currently running) This is not a driver. It still has the V6 under the hood and I can include transfer case and old driveshafts - Or - An original drivetrain with Jeepster TH400 automatic transmission, 225V6, & Dana 20 transfer case can be included separately (not installed) paletted with purchase - if you wish to go with original type parts. With drivetrain, I am looking for 12-5 or if you don't want the separate drive train then I'd like 10 with existing engine and spare Dana 20 transfer case (no transmission included for 10)
