We are the third owners of the Jeep. The mileage is ORIGINAL. We have a notebook on the Jeep from the original owner and second owners. which outlines what they did to the Jeep. The second owners had the front seats reupholstered and new exhaust installed. The rear exhaust hanger on the passenger side came lose and needs to be changed. We have put less than two hundred miles on the Jeep. We bought it to do a frame off restoration but the economy collapsed shortly after we bought it and we haven't done anything with it. We did purchase a new old stock (NOS) AMC 360 V8 short block that we planned to install during the restoration. The engine has been completely gone through with new heads and electronic fuel injection added (actually the work done and parts added are extensive!). We have a lot of money in the 360 engine. The work was performed by Keith at Rancho Performance Machine in Temecula. CA. The AMC 360 (pictured) is available for an additional fee of $5. 00. There is no top on the Jeep but we have the original frame components. The second owners took the smog equipment off the Jeep but we have all of the parts in a box. The Jeep is registered and does not require CA emissions testing. We are sad to see it go but we are retiring and downsizing to a motorhome to spend a year to see the country. The liquid in the photos that is under the Jeep is water because we just washed it. However. the vehicle is 41 years old and does drip. We will not sell outside the US. If the reserve is not met but the high bidder is close to what we want for the Jeep. we may give a last chance offer.
