I have up for sale my 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A. I love this car but I was thinking about letting her go. I've put a TON of work into this beauty. It has rust but it just makes it look beautiful! You could do the bodywork. or just drive her as she is! I have rebuilt the Carter carburetor. converted to 12v. resurfaced the gas tank. new tune up parts including a new distributor. put brand new 16r 32 BF Goodrich tires on all around. new rear brake shoes. new grey canvas seats. and also a conversion to a 1 wire alternator. Needs front brake work. The synchro is going out on 3rd gear so it grinds a bit when downshifting into 3rd but will drive in 3rd just fine. If you don't gas while in 2nd gear with the clutch out it will slide out of gear but still drives in it. Rusty hat channels as per usual on these old Jeeps. The mileage listed is what the ODO says. but I doubt that is the correct mileage. The winch on the front of the car is a badass original PTO driven winch. It is POWERFUL and could practically pull you up a telephone pole!This car is a real head turner! Wherever you go people notice and wave!
