Suspension/Steering/Front-end/Brakes: This Jeep feels great going down the street. Very easy to drive. Fun. not challenging. Turns on a dime. The turning radius is smaller than any car I’ve ever driven. Feels tight. no pulling. straight. no odd noises or feels. Brakes strong & stops straight. Slight body lift. Mostly stock suspension – I personally prefer OEM ride verses modified suspension which often makes for a hard/uncomfortable ride. and worse of all – hit a bump on pavement and keeping it tracking straight can be challenging. on highway. could get scary. BODY No Rust…top to bottom. inside & outSome other Jeeps have aluminum diamond plate. though may look cool but usually covers rust and traps moisture. Professionally wrapped in silver metallic vinyl. All trim removed 1st and re-installed. if you don’t take this step - it’s easier to find flaws and it won’t last. Looks awesome. more too original appearance. The silver also matches the areas like the door jams. under the hood. etc. Original paint was silver. Was purple. now back to silver. I have extra material. I also have pictures before and during the process. ALL of the exterior trim was removed. sanded. primed and painted mat-black. Bumpers sanded & painted mat-black. Entire under-structure painted mat-blackHard top in excellent shape. Painted inside & out. Sunroof – sealed shut to prevent leak. but still drips. water has a mind of it’s own NEW TIRES – General Grabber 31 X 10. 5 X R15: I spent a lot of time selecting these tires. These feel. sound and perform excellent. Full-bore off road tires may look cool BUT make too much noise. perform poor on the pavement (wet roads can be downright scary) and wear faster. Full size spare matching size but differ different tread pattern. NEW - 15 gallon fuel tank & sending unit. Having trouble with gauge accuracy. I will sell FULL.
