Description for Lancia Flaminia GT touring 1961
1961 Lancia Flaminia GT Touring convertible.I have owned this car for the past ten years, kept it in inside storage with the intention of restoring it someday. The older I get and as life's plans change, it seems as though I will never reach my goal. This is the only reason why I have decided to offer it for sale.
This is a very rare car, which will need complete restoration. I do not have a title. It will come with an official notarized bill of sale. (eBay does not give me this option in the listing) It still has Italian license plates, and as far as I know was never registered in the USA. From the windshield sticker, it was shipped to the USA in 1971
The car vin number is: 824.04-1283 It is Number 283 of only 421 built. The Carrozzeria Touring hand built aluminum body number is 8256The all aluminum V6 engine number is 82300*3753* (2.5L single Solex carb)The mileage is 31,474 KmOriginal paint color code is 321 (gunmetal grey)
The car is complete and an excellent restoration candidate. The front floors are rusted through, and the body has some dents, and broken lenses. Please examine the photo's. Overall it is in decent condition. The convertible top is intact and it has the boot cover installed. The tires are rotten, and the spare wheel is in the trunk. It is on rolling castors which will come with the car.
Haggerty Insurance valuations for the car are:Concours $260,000Excellent $225,000Good $198,000Fair $158,000
I am asking $49,800 (less than 1/3 fair condition value because it needs restoration) This is an excellent investment car, as not many remain.
A deposit of $1000.00 will be due through PayPal within 24 hours of sale. I will provide bank wire information for a transfer of remaining funds.
The car will remain in storage until time of pick up. I will assist in any way needed.I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
