This is a exceptional clean and mechanically excellent and rust free 1970 Land Rover Series IIA 88" 4 Wheel Drive Station Wagon fully rebuilt by professional shopand upgraded with a Brand NEW Galvanized Coil Sprung Chassis (frame) NOT a used Defender frame, which has been professionally undercoated. The biggest complaint with the Land Rover Series design was the stiff leaf sprung suspension, hat does not provide a pleasant ride, nd the slowness on the highway, hese flaws were corrected in the Defender Design. The suspension is coil sprung and the rear differentials are not geared to 3:54 giving this Rover a top speed of 85, nd with very good fuel economy.
