This vehicle is currently on its way here from the UK (England) - I am a licensed and bonded/ insured auto dealer, nd this is how I often sell my vehicles. Truck is guaranteed to be able to be titled in the USA, nd I Can provide title for you if you do not want to submit the paperwork yourself.
This auction is for the total cost of this Defender landed here in Savannah, A. A $2500 (100% refundable) deposit is required at the conclusion of this auction, and the balance is due upon your inspection and satisfaction of the vehicle here in Savannah. You will need to come to Savannah to inspect vehicle. NOW ONTO THE TRUCK AT HAND; It could use a rub and polish, but has a documented only 2 owners and 70,300 miles! Original 2.5L 19J engine starts runs and stops as it should. I do have a replacement fender for the dented front LH fender, n red, hat will go with the truck (or be fitted before you see it) - Truck also has a replacement rear cross-member (rear bumper) that was fitted after these photos were taken. If you are interested, email me for new photos.
Interior is original, partan, nd clean. As you can see, his is a Civilian Van Version of this truck - Not an ex-military truck. I DO have a brand new soft top kit that can be fitted to this truck to make it easily convertible, but this is not included in the purchase/ winning bid price. Seats are nice. Wheels are a bit rusty, but work well. I do have several alloy wheel sets that can be substituted, gain, all to discuss.
Body/ floors and bulkhead are all very soli, much nicer than most I have seen from the UK. No welding required, o holes in floor, no rust holes lurking in firewall or bulkhead. Door equally solid. Frame was getting patchy at the rear, which is why we elected to have it professionally repaired to be solid as can be for new owner.
Paint is original and does appear faded, owever a little compound and elbow grease does make paint shiny again - please see photos, n some we gave the truck a quick rub and it appears much shiner than in other pictures. Paint will look nice again once rubbed out.
As you probably know, hese trucks sell for a lot here. I am selling this one for cheap to make room for some other projects I have here. I have a Mercedes 230GE G-wagon I am selling as well as a VW Doka turbo diesel 'crew cab' vanangon - check my other auctions!
