Land Rover Defender 110 Diesel 1987
This is one from my own personal collection, have imported this amazing Landy myself from the UK where I grew up as a USAF Military Brat. I have been importing and exporting for many years and this is a FULLY LEGAL import. Be careful of sellers who are not holding the full import customs cleared papers. They may be selling without knowing an illegal truck and it will be seized from you at your own cost if found to be so at the docks where it will be taken and crushed.. Customs are doing all they can to stop people from bringing these trucks in. They will hold them at the docks for months if they think it could be the wrong one and are seizing them at very high rates every month from people who have brought them on ebay from outside the USA only to find they are not Legal to import at the rate of 7 out of 10. This cost the buyer everything with NO refund.. It is taken and Crushed.. There are trust worthy sellers in the USA selling Landys on here who know what is what and will sell you a real legal truck. The prices of real legal Landys are not cheap. It cost a lot of money and time to import these trucks as well as finding them in good safe working order. I am not selling this truck to be in a price war with anyone nor am I going to put anyone down who is selling one. The more people who have one the better I say. I do have over 30 Landy's in my collection and I can sell a few to help give others the joy of owning such a great truck that will be forever known as the greatest car ever built.
This Landy I am selling is a very nice legal import example of a respectfully civilianized former British Special Forces SAS Combat 110 finished in the classic semi gloss Heritage Green with no bondo or filler at all. It shows very light scaring from its military service days which gives this truck its character and tells stories of historic greatness that opens the mind to wonder of what this truck has seen. The Military Landy's are a lot stronger than the Civilian Landy's and this one has been very well cared for. Being part of the Elite Special Forces this has always been kept in tip top working order to the highest standards even more so than the regular Military forces and could well have been used in many Black Op's in the most hostile places in the world. Full MOD release documents stating service with the SAS.
As many of you may know, and Rover are no longer making these historic iconic trucks as of the end of this year. This is pushing prices up as people are becoming reluctant to sell them and it is already reflecting so around the world. This is a great opportunity to own a true legend of motoring history. From 1948-2015 these trucks have changed very little in body style over the years with this shape still being the same as the last to roll off the production line at the end of this year. This is a timeless classy rugged mans 4x4 that will take you anywhere you want to go for many years to come. Built for reliability, ou can use this truck as a daily driver without any headaches at all .. Clean Florida Title and runs like it did the day it joined the SAS. It will cruise at 70mph. I am using this daily here in Florida just now and it runs as it should and is perfect with the sides rolled up in the Florida sunshine, also love the attention I get every place I go in it. Jeep drivers go crazy to get a good look at it. It can take some time to get places as you are forever getting people asking you questions at the traffic tights about it and taking photo's.. It can make you feel a bit of a rock star with the attention it gets. If you ever take this off road you will understand what it is about a Defender that makes it the Best 4X4 By Far. It has no need for a thumping horse power off the charts.. You will need to heavily upgrade a Jeep to get close to what this can do.

Defenders range in price from rusty buckets at $18K to high end of $160K+.. The reserve price is right on the money for this rare and sought after head turner in the outstanding condition it is in for a 1987 truck that has not only seen combat but for any Land Rover of this year and will go up in value every year if looked after as will all Land Rovers of early Series through Defenders. If you are a person looking for a cheap low price Defender.. You get what you pay for. I know what this truck is worth and the resale price is going to be higher next year. I really don't need to sell this truck. I just want to give more people in the USA the chance to own a true World Wide Legend.
