Description for Land Rover Defender 1981

There is no way of telling what the actual mileage is. I had my local diesel specialist thoroughly check and service the engine including a new head gasket, il etc. The start up is strong. This is not a speed demon, ut it will takes you almost anywhere, ust a little slower. It was also my fishing truck and there is nothing better then taking it to the beach and go low gear and have fun.The chassis is good, lthough one of the front outriggers has a smallhole in it, robably from a rock or whatever, will see ifI can have it welded shut. The underside of the doors and foot wells are solid and haveno rust! which you don'tsee very often. Same goes for the bulkhead, here is some surface rust on the outside which has been treated for now. the paint is flaking in places. The hood fiberglass or plastic has a small tear it in. approx. 2 inch. Thesoft topis old and is patched in places. It currently has the "grey" top on it.
