Solid Defender 110 V8 Motor!

For sale here is a very solid 110 Defender. VIN is SALLDHMV1AA207274. All original. in the states with a clear Virginia title and clear customs paperwork. Right hand drive with LT85 transmission with overdrive. Solid V8 motor recently tuned and carbs adjusted. Bulkhead is very very nice. see pics. Frame is solid as well. Some surface rust but solid all the way around as are the outriggers and cross member. Tires are pretty good. 60-70% left. Interior is original and surprisingly intact. All lights and signals work as they should. Only item not cooperating at the moment are the wipers. Footwells are also intact. Some surface rust but nothing that needs to be replaced. Truck shifts very nicely thru the gears and the overdrive is a nice touch. almost like having 8 gears! The LT85 is basically the original. bulletproof Land Rover transmission. Windows are slider windows that all slide and lock as they should. Truck takes some love to start in the very. very cold but does fine when started in warmer weather or even in the garage in sub zero temps. The truck is currently in Gansevoort. NY where is it sub zero with 2 feet of snow and it starts fine when inside. Of course. this is an original 25 year old truck so there are the 'normal' dings and wear you would expect from such a truck but the value is that there are no serious. major issues to address as they have already been dealt with. This truck is a great starter truck to drive as is or for a rolling restore project. The guts (frame. bulkhead. cross member. motor etc) are all solid and as many of you know. these are the major pain points in these trucks.
