Description for Land Rover Range Rover 1995

This auction is for a 1995 Range Rover County LWB (long wheel base) by Land Rover
This vehicle was my wife's daily driver for many years until we purchased a new Range Rover for her. We both had Range Rovers (me since my 1988) and I still drive Land Rover product. This vehicle was regularly serviced by Land Rover while she was driving it and under an extended warranty through 100K. I kept this car because I loved the room in the LWB and wanted to make it a luxury off-road traveler without all of the computer controls. I parked it and never got around to building it out. A couple of years ago, I got another urge and had a new battery, starter, some belts and hosed replaced and drove it back to our farm -- again, with the intent to build it out with gear -- but got my son's Discovery to work on instead. This car has been sitting a couple of years, but as you can see in the photos, is in fairly good condition for its age. It just had new tires installed before parked. The battery was disconnected and still had the plastic on it. The battery seemed to take and hold a charge just fine. I did not start the car because I believe we ran the gas out when last parked. I didn't want to add more gas until I knew it would sell, because I didn't want to let it sit with gas in the tank / lines. My oldest son drove it last (for a couple of months) and was not as "delicate" as my wife for the short time he drove it. He seemed to have a coke accident in the car where it sprayed the ceiling and although we cleaned it all up at the time, when we closed the sun-roof cover, I spotted stains on the cover (visible in photo.) He also managed to have someone back into and slightly bend the rear passenger bumper corner. It does look like a very easy pull back into place. Otherwise, I take credit for the minor bend to the corner of the front bumper. I didn't want to drive the car, so I put it in neutral to pull it with my other vehicle and it rolled forward. I did test all of the power window and door locks, radio (incl. weather radio), lights, and all worked fine. All manuals for the vehicle and the leather case are also included. (Note: When in for service once, the dealer lost the manual and replaced with 1991. Service passport is complete.)
I believe that the vehicle should start and run fine, but because it has been sitting for a couple of years, will probably need some replacement of rubber parts (including wiper blades.) In looking at the market, I could probably put a little time and money into this vehicle and get considerably more for it, but I am trying to rid myself of excess and just don't have the time or energy to deal with much right now. This vehicle is located at our farm in Central Virginia, just off I-64 between Richmond and Charlottesville, VA. I attempting to be as honest about the condition as possible and if you have specific questions, please ask. But, please ask all questions before bidding or purchasing this vehicle. It costs me both time and money when a buyer does not follow through. I have tried to have the photos speak as to the condition of the vehicle and don't want to make too many claims. In my opinion, this is a great car (given 20+ years old) at a good starting bid price. The only reason I have not included the VIN is that all paperwork is at our farm, with the vehicle. If I find the information at our home, I will revise the listing.
I expect the buyer to pay a deposit of $1,000 within 24 hours of the auction end or immediately upon "Buy it Now." Full payment will be due within 7 days of the auction close. The vehicle can remain at our farm for up to 15 days from the auction close and I will try to coordinate a pick-up with your shipper or you to pick-up. I do have a battery charger at the farm to charge the battery before pick-up if desired. Although I know of no major issues with the vehicle, the vehicle is sold "As-Is / Where is" without warranty of any kind. I will provide the buyer with a clean title and Bill of Sale when full payment has cleared. If you pay with a Cashier's Check, please allow up to ten (10) days for that check to clear my bank. I can provide wire instructions after the sale or take payment (minus the deposit) at time of pickup if within the 7 days.
Again, this was our family car. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Most all of my activity on Ebay is as a Buyer and I try to treat others as I would like to be treated. Feel free to email with questions prior to bidding. Once you bid or purchase, I do expect that you will follow trough. If you are ready to purchase, but believe the "Buy it Now" is a little too high -- email me your offer and I may be willing to adjust the "Buy it Now" for a quick sale.
