Description for Land Rover Defender 1980

For sale is a 1986 (NOT 1980 -Ebay does not recognize -VIN - SALLDHAC8BA258196) Land Rover 110 hard top. This truck is direct from UK Ministry of Defense, in very good condition. I personally selected this vehicle overseas from a group of 60 vehicles. My criteria included low miles, good chassis (frame), rot-free bulkhead (firewall), and good body. The Odometer reads 81,112 kilometers which is approximately 50,000 miles.

The truck was part of the United Kindom's Ministry of Defense (MOD) project Tithonus. Each Tithonus Land Rover was individually selected and fully refurbished by the MOD in 2007-2008 as part of the British Army LEP (life extension program).
The project was to extend the overall service life of the Land-Rovers by 10 years, from 20 to 30 years.
