1987 Land Rover Defender left had drive 5 door Station Wagon I imported from Italy around two years ago. Registered in Virginia with a clear title in my name. I have the documents from Customs to verify it is a legal import. VIN number is SALLDHMB8BA302110. The numbers on the VIN plate and chassis match as seen in the pictures. It starts and runs well. smokes a little when started but soon clears when it warms up. The temperature gauge stays in the middle with no signs of overheating. It has the 19J turbo diesel engine. The shock absorbers have been replaced along with the rear propshaft. temperature sensor and rear exhaust . It has been fitted with a Koni air filter. The original one can be reconnected it was not removed. It has working heater no AC. Power steering. Tires have plenty of tread on them. New roll bar bushes and drop arms. It has a set of keys for doors / ignition / fuel cap they appear to be original. The paint is original no quick re-sprays covering rot. what you see is what you get. The chassis. bulkhead. door pillars and outriggers are very solid as you would expect from an Italian import. This is a true daily driver and the only reason for sale is I have just bought a 1989. Inspections are welcome it is located mid way between Farmville and Dillwyn zip code is 23936. There are a couple of dings on the passenger side it looks like it was scraped against something. The door bottoms are solid . nbsp;some trim as come away and there is some damage from the door stays. This is a very good example of a Left Hand Drive 5 Door Station Wagon in original condition that being said it is 27 years old and unrestored so not a perfect vehicle.
