Description for Land Rover Range Rover 1976
This 1976 Range Rover Classic 2-Door (Suffix “D”) is one of the oldest. most-original. and rarest Range Rovers available for sale in North America. It’s also in fantastic original shape with less than 33. 00 original miles. This Range Rover features;Original 3. 5L Rover V8 Engine (completely original right down to the valves. pistons. and rods)Original Left-hand drive (which is extremely rare. less than 9. 00 were made in 1976)Original vinyl and carpets in the interiorOriginal Lucas lights and gauges (all of which work)Original 4 speed transmissionNew stock-size tiresOriginal Range Rover Classic wheelsOriginal rust-free frame with all matching numbers New paint (to the original color paint scheme; arctic white)Original sealsFully functioning Hi/Lo 4x4Original VIN plateOriginal front and rear bumpersThis RRC has no rust. no mechanical issues. and is completely original (save for the mirrors) right down to the screws. nuts. and bolts and is a purist’s dream-come-true. All the numbers match (engine. frame. and VIN plate) and was recently inspected and titled by the State of Florida. The engine is in perfect running order. the transmission shifts smoothly. and all electrics (lights. turn signals. horns. gauges. wipers etc. ) work exactly as they should. Since RRC’s weren’t officially imported into the U. S. until 1987 (by then they were the later four-door models). you’ll be very hard-pressed to find another RRC 2-Door that is original LHD. is in this kind of original condition. and has this few original miles. A brief history of this RRC 2-Door and our company C&C Rovers…C&C Rovers is a family-owned and operated team of Land Rover experts and restorers from both the US and Canada. We’re based in Guatemala City and have a sister shop in New Smyrna Beach (just south of Daytona Beach). Florida. We work exclusively with all classic Land Rover and Range Rover models and we have a large selection of original. hard-to-find Rover parts and vehicles due to the abundance of classic Land Rovers throughout Central America. We restore our Rovers in our home shop in Guatemala and then import them to the US where they’re then titled and sold to clients who usually have us custom-build them. For more information and photos of our past and current projects or to view our current inventory please check out our website at www. CNCrovers. com. find us on facebook at C & C Classic Land Rovers. follow us on Instagram for weekly pictures of our current projects (cnc_rovers). or check out our sister company New World Safari (www. NewWorldSafari. com) which uses some of our Rover Restorations for tours throughout Guatemala and Central America beyond. This 1976 was originally made for export (hence the original LHD) and was imported to Guatemala that same year to the Land Rover dealership (that was then known as KEPACO). The first four digits of the frame number indicate that it was specifically made for this purpose (3582) and we encourage any interested parties to independently verify this. It had only two owners prior to us buying it in September of 2014 and was very well maintained hence the striking original condition of the vehicle. We restored the vehicle throughout September until December when it was then shipped to our sister shop near Daytona Beach. Florida. It was then inspected by the EPA. US Customs. and finally by the Volusia County DMV and now has a new. clean Florida title. The vehicle has never been in any accidents (major or minor) and had no rust whatsoever. largely due to Guatemala’s arid and mountainous climate and due to the fact that the previous owners had put very few miles on it. We can provide photos of the truck before and during the restoration upon request to verify this. Please call/text (386)-295-7874. or email us any time to schedule a test drive or for any additional photos. history. or information on this 1976 RRC as well as our company. If you are located outside of North America. please check the local time in Florida (EST) prior to calling. $5. 00. 00 USD deposit required within 48 hours of closing of auction. Thanks for looking and we look forward to hearing from you. –Tyson (Co-owner/operator of C&C Rovers and New World Safari)
