This is a Short-wheelbase Rover. sold new at the old BMC ( British Motorcar Company) dealership on Van Ness Ave in downtown SF. now Land Rover of San Francisco. It resided in CA and then AZ for part of its life before relocating back to Northern California. where it currently resides. Skid plates in front and rear differential. Professionally installed off-road snorkel. all work having been done by Land Rover British in Livermore. CA. It scores an AUTOCHECK report score of 59 out of a 19-56 range! Completely stock 3. 9L engine runs very well. No internal/ external engine noises. smoke or visible leaks. 112K original miles. extremely low for any Land Rover ( more than likely because it was a secondary leisure vehicle. not a regular driver). No modifications. alterations or deviations from stock condition. other than what is noted. Automatic transmission shifts well through the gears. Electric sliding moonroof ( functions well and does not leak). nbsp;Four-wheel Power disc brakes. nbsp;Power steering. Power windows ( all four work) and Power seats. Recent brand-new battery. It has a set of radial tires with approximately 70% all the way around. The rear bumper end-caps were aged and removed. as I had another set already ordered ( they had not arrived at the time of the photos being taken). This is a straight example of an un-restored Classic Range Rover SWB that looks good despite its vintage. The coachwork is in very good condition for its age. with no dents or any visible major damage. with the exception of a small rear corner of the hood that was touched up but a bit off different shade of white somewhat off color. No accidents or reported mishaps. As a true California vehicle. it is completely 100% rust-free as expected. and solid throughout. Its original Chawton White factory finish still shines nicely. despite the passing of time. All doors. panels. hood and trunk line up nicely. There is NO clearcoat fading. flaking or damage to the factory finish on the roof. hood or filler panel areas. common on many Rovers. The rear tailgate frame and surrounding areas are in very good condition and rust-free. a common ailment area in all Classic Rovers. Its tan leather upholstery is in very good condition and has held up well. There are no tears. wear spot or seam separation. The headliner has also held up very well. and there are no sagging or drooping areas. as it is its more common ailment on all Range Rovers. Clean original carpeting. door panels and trunk area. This Range rover Classic has a clear Arizona title. It has a very good engine. solid bodywork and clean interior. Overall a solid. unrestored Range Rover Classic.
