Condition:This Lexus is in very good condition. It was previously white but I had it painted black. The paint job is less than one year old and it looks great. I have not noticed any problems on the outside of the vehicle. There is some very small imperfections on the metal trim around the sunroof area but nothing to be concerned about. This car is a smoke-free car.
The inside is also in very good condition. The front leather seats have some wear and tear on them from over the years but I ordered some seat covers to go over them, s can be seen in the pictures. The back seats are fine but the seat cover order comes with custom fitted covers for the back as well. The dashboard has two(2) small (half inch) tears / cracks in the center (pictures included). The Rims are NOT Lexus rims - they are MAZDA rims that I got from a friend when I first purchased the car. Everything works inside this car (air conditioning; heat; cruise control; power locks, ower windows, ower seats; sunroof; seat heaters; speakers; radio (brand new Pioneer)...etc..). The instrument cluster had some issues with the gauge hand lights going out and it was hard to see how fast your were going at night, mong other things. The last odometer reading on this vehicle was (198,428) before I proceeded to try to find an instrument cluster with the lights working on the guage hands. The currently installed instrument cluster has a readout of (251,768) on the odometer but that is absolutely not correct and all the hand lights do not work. The vendor found me one that had a readout of (182,000) on it but all the lights did not work. Long story short, am stuck with the one with a higher mileage reading on it. I tried to retrieve the one with the correct mileage on it (even though all the lights did not work) but the vendor had gotten rid of it.
Mechanical Problems:
About 7 months ago (April), started having problems with what appears to be power loss. The car would just lose power and die down then the (check engine) light comes on. I would be driving and it would be like something just gets clogged and the car slows down. When I press the gas, he car does not respond. If I put the car in Low Gear (Number # 1) and give it gas, t will go forward. Reverse works fine but # 2 and Drive will not respond when this situation happens. What was strange is that after letting the car sit for a couple of days, went back to check it to see if it would repeat and everything worked just fine - not sure if it was something that got overheated or what. I work outside of my home state months at a time so I do not drive this car often at all. Maybe 5 times a year. I have another car and a truck that I use more often. A couple of months later, he car did the same thing and I was told that the transmission needed to be rebuilt so I had that done. The car repeated the event again and I was told that maybe the fuel pump was bad or the filter was clogged. Both were checked and the filter was cleaned but it happened again. At this point I do not know what is the problem with the car and I'm not sure who to trust advise from. I was told there is nothing wrong with the engine itself and that the problem is somewhat related to the fuel delivery and transmission. The transmission was rebuilt so I do not know.
The only other issue (mechanically) is the radio antenna gets stuck and does not work properly or extends. You can her the motor working but it does not come up and I have to manually pull it out.
History:
I purchased this vehicle about 4 years ago and I did not have any problems with it until the power / transmission issue started. Until then it was a very dependable car with no issues at all.

Due to the mechanical issue with the vehicle, t is advised that if you are the successful bidder, ou make arrangements to pick the vehicle up from its' location. I can not guarantee that the vehicle will drive without the issues I have listed above. I am being as honest and as detailed as I can. The last couple of times I drove it, t went over 20 miles before issues started and one time the issue started immediately after starting the vehicle so it's unpredictable. I will accept 50% of the successful bud amount through PAYPAL and the other 50% upon pick up.
