1969 Lincoln Continental Base 7.6L

Description for Lincoln Continental 1969

Very nice restoration project vehicle for investment.Carburetor has been rebuilt. Runsgood like it should, o missing, r smoke.Will need the vacuum lines replaced. The brakes do not work and the cause is thought to be faulty vacuum lines. Could need a brake power booster.

There is acigarette burn hole in the drivers seat, here is some rust in the usual places. My opinion is the rust is minor. By that I mean you will not be needing floor pans or extensive cutting and wielding. Just maybe some workhere and there.

The glassis all good but may be some pitting or a crows eye in windshield. but not noticeable or real bad. No cracks

The headliner is near perfect but will need a little attention, asylike not a lot.

Iknow it is an old car and many things do not work presently like the clock, ower windows and locks. I never tried to fix up thecar.

I just had a water pump and timing chain and coolant and refurbished radiator and rebuilt carburetor, ew spark plugs etc... Themechanicalso put a new battery in it and It started right up. and He said it is like a fantastic engine. He did all the repairs and He is a very good 35 year plus mechanic. The motor is good but I can not drive it because the brakes do not work.

So with that said the interior is black and in good condition. The body is near perfect, ut has a small scrape at rear left wheel, ery small.

Ibought it without a title and have not titled it or tried to. I was going to fix it up but have to sell it for financial reasons.
