The narrative was revised for two reasons: (a) to make a correction to the recent maintenance items (one item--the new steering column bushing--was applicable to another car, ot this car) and (b) to emphasize the necessity of performing regular maintenance on the car before driving any significant distances. The tires are new but the car has only been driven a few miles over the last one to two years. The second narrative is more accurate with regard to the last performed maintenance.
