Description for Lincoln Other 1941
Wow, hat a garage find.! This car has been sitting for an unknown amount of years in an enclosed, nsulated garage, igh and dry. I will start by stating I have no history whatsoever on this car. Acquired from an estate. Ask questions. I did not obtain 100% positive feed back by lying to people..! Come and look. Ask for specific pictures. If this extremely nice car is not covered in its' original paint, simply cannot detect it. If it is a repaint, t is absolutely the best I have ever seen and would have been done years ago..! The paint I'm sure would buff to a luster, ut I do not want to change the patina.I can find only5 scratches. The largest is in the right rear fender skirt shown in photo. Ican't find a single dent. All glass is good with no cracks and no fogging. All the die cast chrome is showing some pitting. Stainless trim is good. The trim stripon the lower right frontfender is the only piece of the entire car that I know is missing and I do not have it.I do not have a lift, o a couple pics with my camera lying on a creeper is the best I can do.! The underside is so clean it would be the only evidence I can find to support an olderrestoration. NO RUST anywhere on this car can I find. Under the mats, nder the trunk mat, ll perfect. It is 100% original as far as I can determine except for the engine which has casting numbers on the heads that would indicate a lateryear V12. The rest of the engine bay is perfect. A hot battery turns the motor over normally with that distinctive groaning sound that Ford flatheads make. I finally took the distributor off and had an 88 year old Zephyr expert help me with it. Sanded the points, ut the dist. back on, oured a little gas down the carb and "Voila".!! She lit right up.! Sounded good too.! The interior looks original with some discoloring in the headliner. The single biggest deficiencies inside the carare, he steering wheel is cracked badly and the radio faceplate is deteriorated but is with the car. The radio itself is still in the dash. There is a new m/cylinder in the trunk. The trunk is in very nice condition with a correct spare and jack. I do not answer calls from area codes not local to me.(Thanks to the scammers..!!) So ask questions by text 9three1 2three5 4ate6ate. Or thru ebay email. Deposit of $500.00 in 48 hours by Paypal. Balance in 10 days by cash. If you have other payment types in mind, ontact me before bidding..!! The car will not leave my sight until paid in full. Thank you for looking.
Please Ask Questions Pryor to bidding, o not assume anything.!
