Description for Lincoln Continental 1979
17,000 original miles. Full vinyl top option and moon roof. Kasmir luxury cloth edition which was more expensive than the leather. Purchased from the estate of a Ford dealer. 17,000 original miles. Extremely well sorted, eady for cross country travel even. Power seats work, indows, B, uto dimming, nd auto lights on and off delay. All lights work as does the heat and ac. All speakers work and so does the after market radio and cd player. Good news is the dash was not cut or modified and the working original am/fm 8 track is included in the sale. Quiet dual exhaust and heated outside mirrors round out the package. One of the few American luxury sedans of this era that can effortlessly cruise at 75 mph here in New Mexico without effort. That is the 75 mph speed limit at 7,400 altitude we are talking about too. Remarkable. Please note I have been on eBay for well over one decade and have 100% positive feedback. This is a car out of my collection. Please visit jim hailey classic cars for more pictures. I ship all over the world. Similar to its namesake option on the Continental Mark V, he Collector's Series offered virtually every available feature as standard equipment, aising the price to $16,500 ($53,797 in current dollars). Only four options were available: a power moonroof, 0-channel CB radio, Sure-Track" anti-lock brakes, nd a plush Kashmir velour interior; the price of a fully equipped Continental Collector's Series could exceed $18,000 ($58,688 in current dollars). There were only four colors available: dark blue, hite and limited-issue medium blue (197 built) and light silver (125 built) with a dark-blue vinyl top.
