Description for Lincoln Continental 1963
Very complete, but needs restored,1963 Lincoln Continental sedan project car.It was originallysold in California and moved to Arkansas by the original owner. I gotthe car from the original owners family. I have original California registration and clean Arkansas Title in hand.I purchased the car with the intent of redoing, upgrading all of the systems, bagging it and installingan LS-3. I had the car blasted except for the exterior body panels. That made for nice base to do the fabrication that has been done. The floors had very little rust, but floors have been professionally replaced and the tunnelfabricated to acceptany LS enginewith 4L60E-4L80E transmission, The work is nice, not ahack job with street signs... See pics. The firewall was smoothed and ready for Vintage Air System, Not included. The lower rockers were replaced. The truck floor was completely replaced and has a new Aeromotive FI ready fuel tank installed. After the fab work was done I had it re-blasted and them primed with DTM primer as seen in the pics, all 4 doors are there and complete, all 4 doorshave have easy to fix rust in the bottom of them, The steering system was also modified with a ZF rack and Pinion steering rack with borgenson universals. The steering column was upgraded to a New GM style column, the original column is also included. The power seat was modified to eliminate the costly repairs of the original power seat to now have a manual slider. I purchased another dash that has no cracksand is very restorable. The orginal dash is also included. The trunk lid has very little rust in the inner structure which is rare for the early Continentals. The hood inner structure has a little rust and can be easily repaired. The front suspension has been replaced with Chopin Block setup with airbags and shocks included. The rear suspension has been upgraded to the BC FAB 4 link system with airbags included also. The rear axle is also upgraded to a big bearing Ford 9" housing and moser axles. Other items included are NEW stainless shorty headers for the LS engine, NEWengine mounts for the LS, NEW Canton LSroad race oil pan to get engine low in the car, custom fab'd transmission mount. The rear glass and door glass are there, but no windshield.I believeevery piece of trim is there, see pics, since we started with a complete car. I decided to go in another direction so my loss is your gain. I will be glad to assist with pick up any way I can. A lot of money has been spent on this project so message me with your specific questions. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. NO PAYPAL and NO Scams. Thanks for looking.
