Description for Lincoln Continental 1969

1969 Lincoln Continental Sedan. New correct aqua paint. Original aqua leather interior in decent shape, cracks but no tears.

Bought this car as the 1969's are hard to find and I think it has the best front grill design and interiors with headrests! The last of the suicide door Lincolns. Had the car re-painted the correct aqua color. I do not believe it ever had a vinyl top. Interior leather in decent condition. I have tried to make this car as complete as possible finding some very good items from a donor car that was in great condition. New upper dash, only flaw is near the speaker (rare item to find).

Radio and wood dash is new. Radio is not connected. New drivers door switch panel. Not connected. Drivers window worked and one of the back windows. But these switches should be in good working order since they came from a car in good condition. All door panel armrests are in good condition. The front passenger armrest had a crack which has been fixed. Headliner has some tears in it. Front floor boards were repaired and new carpet installed. Car has cruise control. Electric antenna works!!! Power seat works.

Previous owner had "hot rodded" this car with some high performance items like the air cleaner and an electric fuel pump. I have installed a new radiator, engine mounts, exhaust, fuel lines, etc., rebuilt carb, Car will need more work to run smoothly, shocks, interior electrics, etc. But this is a good start for someone wanting to put some TLC into it. Good paint job with clear coat. There was damage to the front passenger side fender. The chrome under that panel needs to be replaced. Bumpers are not shiny. All other chrome is present.

Again, these 1969 Lincolns are hard to find, and I often see high prices of 10,000 to 12,000 for who knows what condition. This car is complete with new paint and I am looking to get what I have in it. Please excuse the pictures. Some show missing trim pieces, fender peak moldings and rocker panel chrome. It is all there, I may not have had it on when I took the pictures. The car is deep in storage and hard to get out to update the pictures. Please ask any questions. Too many projects here and have lost interest in this one so hope to find her a good home.
