Model Ks found homes in the garages of affluent Americans at a consistent rate throughout their nine years of production. By the mid-1930s. Lincoln offered 18 custom and standard Model K body styles with the Limousine being the most popular; 282 of these Limos (designated 303-B) were sold in 1935 alone at a price nearing $4700! Passengers behind the crank-operated glass partition are coddled with gray buttoned cloth and the finest appointments offered at the time. Lincoln went so far as to move the rear seats forward in 1935 so that they could minimize the jolts and vibrations of riding on top of the rear axle.
