Description for Lincoln Continental 1962
Up for sale is my rare and very original 1962 Lincoln Continental sedan. This is an original A code factory color car (Presidential Black) which less than 5% of all Lincoln's built came in that option. I am only the third registered owner to this beauty since new and it has always been very well cared for. Odometer reads just over 33k miles and I was assured by the previous family that it is original to the car since it sat in storage for several years. I have a clean CA title in hand with current tags, registered to my name and it's ready to be transferred to the new owner. Get ready to turn heads everywhere behind the wheel of this amazing ride! This Lincoln comes equipped with the original matching numbers 430ci big block engine and 3-speed automatic C-6 transmission. It runs excellent and shifts smoothly into all gears. It has lots of power and picks up fairly quick for such a large car (320hp / 465 lb-ft) from factory. I just had the carburator rebuilt and It starts right up on first key turn no matter how cold it is or how long it’s been sitting. The suspension, power steering, and power brakes all work excellent and the car feels safe at any speed. No squeaks or rattles while driving and the power-train runs very smooth as any Lincoln should. I just had the brake power booster rebuilt and overhauled the brakes as well. The interior was all done last year and it included new upholstery, perforated headliner like the original, new wood trim, interior carpet, trunk upholstery and a custom made spare tire cover. Car was repainted with its original color a few years ago by the previous owners and still looks great. Most of the exterior chrome trim is original with the exception of a few things like the door handles that have been re-chromed to look like new again. It has new white wall tires all around. The Lincoln is available for inspection during the coarse of this auction by any serious buyer. Send me a message with your contact info and we can set something up right away. This is a No Reserve listing and the car will go to the highest bidder no matter what. View my feedback and bid with confidence. Like any other classic, this vehicle is being sold in AS IS condition with no warranty included. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything prior to bidding. I will sell to out-of-state and international buyers and can assist with the shipping process as well. Thanks for looking and happy bidding my friends!
