Description for Lincoln Continental 1979
This is the last of the Ford Lincoln "Big Cars" all that is left is Old Men sitting around talking about the "Good Old Days" when Big Cars and Muscle Cars Ruled the Road.>This car has OEM original paint, windows, wheels, tool kit, manuals, build sheet, "ZIEBART Rust Proofing", Fairly New Michelin X Steel Belted Tires.>No cracks or tears in seats, dash board, door panels or rear window deck, the fire extinguisher was dated 1974 and probably added by the Dealership. Trunk looks near new and never used. NEW GAS TANK INSTALLED 2019;This car runs straight, brakes do not pull or drag, a true highway cruiser.. There is a Chapman security system on this car but I dont have a key to operate it. This Car has all options for that year except for the cloth interior, the CB works real good. Drivers side Rear View Mirror also has an outdoors temp indicator.> No oil or fluid leakage, oil and all fluids look like day out of the factory, no exhaust smoke, Always a NON Smoking car, Original floor mats, all interior and exterior lights work, remote trunk release also.> Now the few not so good problems....Headlights have a vacuum leak, fuel gauge always reads full, small shopping cart scrape on passenger side front fender I will attach a photo if you write and ask for one, also scrape on Passenger side rear bumper, Car needs a good tune up and possibly a Carb Rebuild. Car sputters on acceleration but once it gets going the ride is all luxury and smooth, missing rear driver side window switch. Slight damage to wood grain on steering wheeI. have not operated the sunroof for fear of a possible seal problem (just being cautious)> THIS Vehicle was a FULLY LOADED FACTORY ORIGINAL CAR> This vehicle is being sold with NO IMPLIED or EXPRESSED WARRANTEE, I invite any or all all potential buyers to inspect this car prior to purchase (By self or local professional of your choice) If not inspected by buyer or independent professional that is your choice.> I will expect a full payment via a well known US Bank Cashiers Check or Cash within 3 days of the sale or your offer will be forfeited. Once buyer takes full possession of this car I will consider the buyer had fully accepted the conditions of sale and payment and no return will be accepted. Buyer will also be responsible for any and all damages to the vehicle by independent or self shipment. Please insure this purchase prior to shipment. Car may be held until my bank assures me that your Cashiers Check cleared.
