Description for Lincoln Mark Series 1969
1969 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL MARK III
I am a private collector and selling a few of my classic cars.
In this auction is the iconic Mark III--one of the most stylish masterpieces of Ford Motor engineering.Produced from 1969 to 1971, this early Mark III is a 2-door coupe and, for the early1970s, the perfect marriage of luxury and logic. The 1969 Mark III is one of the more desirable models in the Mark Series because Elvis Presley, James Brown and Arnold Palmer drove them.
It has abundant power, ample cabin space, and myriad creature comforts, making this Mark III a favorite among collectors of fine automobiles.
Overall, the car is good condition for its age, and this one is a perfect car for restoration.
• the car has sat in covered storage for over three years
• it is original, with a straight body, solid undercarriage, and good body panels
• it is finished in white with a white coupe top
• it has an original bill of sale and a Vermont certificate of title enroute
• it has 53,079 original miles
• it has automatic transmission and all power options
Under the hood resides the Ford 460 CID, naturally aspirated V8 with 365 horsepower. The engine has not been started for awhile, and it was running when it was parked.
History: the car has had several owners. The last three years the car has been in covered storage. The car needs a new paint job, but little to no body work because all of the panels are straight. The car has all is chrome and most of it is in good shape. There is minimal rust. The car has been sitting in storage. All of the interior appears present, and new carpet was purchased for installation.

Remember, this vehicle is from the 1970's, and even though I've tried my best to describe it, it is not a perfect show vehicle.
