Description for Lincoln Town Car 1987
Vehicle DetailsUp for sale is my very rare "Triple White" 1987 Lincoln Town car. Finding this color combo in this condition is almost impossible, and willing to claim it might be the only one in Texas in this condition.
Mechanical:
The 5.0l engine and 4speed trans are quiet and very smooth, with only 64k miles, and capable of going anywhere you would want to go. I've recently done a full tune up from wires/plugs and distributor cap and rotor. I've done all fluids from engine oil, transmission oil, anti-freeze, and brake fluid flush. In the last month, I've replaced the in-tank fuel pump/screen and filter with OE motorcraft parts. I've also invested in the A/C system with a new compressor/drier, lines/o-rings and filled with 134 Freon. When I say this car is ready for anything, I mean it. It can hit the highway, used as a daily driver, or as a weekend toy. Either way, mechanically, it is in top tier condition.
Exterior:
This car is perfectly straight with original white paint that still shines as it should. There are no door dings, waves or any signs of body work or rust repair. The Vinyl top looks new but is the original top, never dyed or replaced and doesn't have any rust bubbling up underneath. All chrome, glass, trim, wheels are in next to perfect condition with nothing to speak of as far as imperfections.
Interior:
This is what sets the car apart from most, with a very soft, elegant and near perfect white leather interior. Has plush red carpet and perfect dash with no cracks or fade to it. The seats do not have any signs of cracking or fading, and just looks beautiful and feels just as nice. The only flaw in the interior is the driver door arm rest, that has a small crack in it, but could easily be repaired. Original radio works but is bypassed to a CD player that is installed inside the glove box. We wanted to keep it original and not cut or remove original parts. The original clock still works perfectly, which should confirm the originality of the car to people who know Lincolns.
This car has been garaged all its life and really shows it. We have service records and books that will come with the car to prove how well its been taken car of. If you are a Lincoln/Mercury fan, then you know what you are looking at and can appreciate what it is.
